Do you have the capacity to forgive those that have trespassed against you?

Thank you very much for your letter. I was quite moved that you found it in your heart to ask for forgiveness. The first steps in life to being a better person is realising our mistakes and saying sorry is as much important. I really do not blame you for all that I had to go through; in fact I have never held any bitterness towards you at any point in time. The Bible is quite clear that we should forgive. Remember I am sure in Sunday school at some point they taught you the story of the thieves who hung on their crosses together with Jesus. One of these thieves realising his life’s errors asked for Jesus to forgive his sins. The son of man did not hesitate to promise him a place in the heavens.
